Course objectives:
|
The goal of the course is to expand students's knowledge by the methods and approaches used in research of advanced topics in software engineering areas (mainly reliable software systems and natural language processing), focusing on the topics being solved by research groups at FAS UWB.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation in seminars.
Analysis of state of the art and/or comparison of approaches to the given research problem, based on self-study of key sources (textbooks, research papers) and summary of results in the form of research article; deadline: end of 2nd week of January.
Presentation of the summary on the seminar.

Content
|
The seminar consists of lectures and discussions whose syllabus is published by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering prior to the start of the semester.
